The stages of learning & mastery:
- Catalyzing interest – The initial spark that inspires action
- Fumbling in the dark – Exploring the topic or subject with the initially limited understanding
- Anger & frustration at lack of skills – Encountering the assumptions that need to change or obstacles to overcome in order to become proficient
- Preliminary Understanding – Things are starting to click, but only partially… Still encountering limitations in learning
- Mastery & Fun – Creating new things and playing with the topic/subject… It has become something that can be utilized without difficulty which translates to trying new things with the topic and finding new ways to apply the skill
