I have been a landlord for +/- 7 years and have encountered a number of tenants that have passed a full background check, and even reference checks that turned out to be some of my worst tenants. Most recently I had the DEA break in the door of one tenant, and as best I can tell she had other people she knew act as previous employers and landlords. I have other friends that have rental properties in my area and we have joked about having our list for reference. After this latest experience, I feel like there is some validity to the idea! Pallet Night Stands

So, after I completed the pallet headboard, we needed something for our books, lamps, chargers, and other night stand items.

I decided to go the same route… So, I got out my brad nailer and chop saw and went to it.

Here’s the result:

We had recently moved into a new house and it was time to get some ‘adult’ furniture… Like headboards and stuff.

I felt we had spent enough money on the house and was not too excited about paying for furniture too (I’m cheap like that). Plus, after looking at some ideas online, I felt like I could make something pretty tasteful very affordably.

Here’s the result:

 

I think all I ended having to pay for was the finish, so total cost was only about $15… Works for me!
